Pelican Lake Outfitters is situated on the forest fringe in Northern Saskatchewan. We offer hunts in locations which include Saskatchewan Agriculture Land, Forest Fringe Land, as well as Forest Land. This region in Saskatchewan is called the “Lake Head Region,” producing monster Whitetail Deer. Each of these unique regions offer a variety of vegetation and wildlife.

Our experienced guides will help you learn about the differences in each area while we hunt for your trophy deer.

Guide Alfred Bill

Alfred Bill

Alfred was born and raised in the region, being a member of the Pelican Lake First Nations. Alfred's interests include managing his own Cow-Calf operation, Cattle Penning competitions, Stock Dog training, and trapping. Alfred has been named Top Trapper in Saskatchewan by the Saskatchewan Trappers Association. Alfred being an avid hunter and trapper uses his local knowledge of the land to help Pelican Lake Outfitters provide quality hunts for their clients.

Guide Dallas Johnstone (Barlow)

Dallas Johnstone (Barlow)

Dallas was born and raised in the region, being a member of the Pelican Lake First Nations. Dallas works summers as a Forest Fire Fighting specialist, and from early fall to late winter working with Pelican Lake Outfitting. Dallas is an avid hunter, and he appreciates the locations which are very remote; he wants to find that special buck for you to take home. When not working, you can find Dallas on the quads or skidoos travelling the area always on the lookout for the next stand location.

Guide Romeo Thomas

Romeo Thomas

Romeo was born and raised in the region, being a member of the Pelican Lake First Nations. Romeo spends most his time being a leader of the community as a band councillor. Away from politics, Romeo enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and many other outdoor activities. Romeo joins the team at Pelican Lake Outfitters every fall to help keep baits active and to help take hunters out to locations. 2022 will be Romeo's 20th year active with Pelican Lake Outfitters.

This Georgia boy tagged out 3 hours into the week. Pretty excited for this chocolate horn buck. He retagged and is out enjoying 4 more days of hunting!
